Sun Room

This room got its name from the two large south facing windows, but not to worry, the light is filtered through a laurel bush preventing a swelter. This room has the biggest plant in the house (because the plant likes it there).

It’s hard to see from this angle but this is not a small room. I would say M/L. That desk? More than seven feet long.

I used to have a table making company in town and the barn wood I used for this desk top was my first wood purchase out of Gaston, Oregon. It does have three drawers.

The closet is ample with three shelves above the hanging bar. The owner told me I could do what I want with the closets so I most definitely am!

The bed is new and firm but still a bit soft. Sealy. There are sheets and bedding included, so really you would just have to bring your clothes.

The side table is my first wood cookie table out of locally sourced Brown Elm. I gave it the name Black Sheep (You’ll see why when you see it straight on).

This is the view looking back towards the door of the room, which you can see has a transom for air flow.

A past roommate put a lot of holes in the walls to put these up. The best solution was to leave them, so let there be hooks!
